The octopus

Today we saw a video about a octopus and we were told to make a google doc about what happened. Here is what I have done:

One day I decided to go Scuba diving in the sea so I brought all my Scuba diving gear.  when we were ready we packed all our gear in a bag and drove there. when we were there. We put our gear on and put tanks on the back of us. when we were ready we started to go in the sea and go scuba diving. I then I started to swim deeper and then I saw a rock that had something moving on it so I went and checked it out. When I got closer enough to see what it was I knew it was a octopus Then suddenly it grabs me and it was hard to get out. Then the octopus grab my hands and then I got stuck in and couldn't get out my  I got help from my friend and then she helped me get out started to...

This week it is Samoan Language week. We have been doing alot of learning around Samoan language week. In my literacy we have done a slide all about Samoan language week. Here it is:

Numeracy week 5 term 2

This week In numeracy we have been told to do a post about numeracy. timestables.co.nz is what i'm working on a the moment and have done stage 5. Here is a screenshot of my work:

As you can see I have got all of them right so my next step is going to be trying out stage 6. 

My Culture food

 

Dear Miss Rowland

The food I have chosen to be my culture food is Pavlova. Pavlova is like a soft fluffy cake. I really like pavlova because I like the taste of it and the feeling in my mouth. Sometimes it sizzles when it’s in my mouth. We have pavlova every Christmas and also sometimes my Grandmother does it on my and my sisters birthdays! :)

I really like pavlova. It’s my favourite dessert. Here are the ingredients you will need if you would like to make it:

Ingredients:

1. 4 egg whites.
2. 250g caster sugar.
3. 1 tsp white wine vinegar.
4. 1 tsp cornflour.
5. 1 tsp vanilla extract.

My Grandmother also adds dairy milk cream all over it and I also like to add strawberries on it because it taste better with it personally.

Most of the time I have a big piece of it. :)

Dance!

Dance!

Today me and my class had a guy that's very good at dancing come. His name was Shawn. He came to teach us all dance Bollywood,Modern,Jive and the Tango. Also when we are ready we will perform in front of more that 1,000 people. We will be performing in the Isaac theatre and I can't wait because I have never been there but it sounds fun! There will be a lot more other schools performing. He said that its sort of like a competition.
