In maths yesterday, my group all did a prototec to check up on how we are with our basic facts. I tried stage six on prototec because I thought I'd challenge myself. I did this prototec yesterday because yesterday I didn't get time to make a blog post about it. Here is my work:

I think I did pretty good on stage six, my next step is 
 to be fluent with my stage six maths.

Today in maths, we all completed a prototec to check up on how we are. We had fifteen minutes to complete it. Here is an example of my work: 

I think I have done pretty good although I did get two wrong so my next step would be to keep practising so I'm good and fast at my stage 6 and then I can move on to trying to attempt at doing stage 7.

Inquiry And Arts Reflections

Art: I thought our Tapa Art unit was interesting because I had never learned about it before and there were a lot of interesting things that I never knew of. Basically, it was very new to me and I enjoyed it.

If I rate myself out of 10 for how well I participated in our art unit, I would give myself an 8/10 because I was almost finished but didn't fully finish it.

In our Tapa Art unit, I learned:

1) I learned new and creative designs and how to do them.

2) I learned how people create tapa cloths and the things to make them.

3)What people use tapa cloths for.

Inquiry: I thought our Social Science unit about inventions throughout time was interesting because I learned things about how life was back in the days and it was pretty rough and strict.

If I rate myself out of 10 for how well I participated in our Inquiry unit, I would give myself 8/10 because for me it was very fun to learn about seen there were a lot of different things.

In our innovations unit, I learned:

1)Only rich kids could go to school.

2)A lot of things were different than now.

3)There were a lot of strict rules you had to respect.

Talofa Tagata Uma! Last week in literacy we created a DLO around Samoa because last week it was Samoan Learning Week. The DLO that we created was some tasks/activities about Samoa. Here is my work:

Today I created a MindMup so I can identify and remember the things we need to do when writing so we are showing courtesy to our audience. For many people in my class, creating a MindMup was a new experience. Heres my work:

Today in numeracy, we did some Prototec after we did a worksheet. I didn't get much time to do it and I had just started and just when I started we just finished a few minutes later. Heres my time and work:

I think that I could have done more but also at the same time I didn't have much time but my next step is to work a little faster and maybe next time I'll get more time:)
